Aburi Girls Robotics Team Repping Ghana At Robotics Competition 🇬🇭
The Aburi Girls High School team will be representing Ghana at the 2021 FIRST Global Challenge
The all-girls Team Ghana is being mentored by the STEMbees Organisation and will be a part of this virtual season which began on 27 June 2021 and will end on 28 September 2021.
The STEMbees organisation was also part of the efforts to send a team from Wesley Girls Senior High School to the FIRST Global Robotics competition in México City in 2018.
In 2019, Team ACRO-BOT from the Methodist Girls’ High School in the Eastern Region came first in the senior division at the 2019 World Robotics competition.
It’s a cool trend to see All Girl teams compete at international competitions and hopefully, the trend continues and more schools get involved in robotics.
