BasiGo Raises $42 Million In Series A Round to Fund Electric Bus Expansion
BasiGo, an electric bus company based in Kenya, has raised $42 million in new capital. This includes $24 million from a Series A equity funding round led by Africa50, and $17.5 million in debt from the British International Investment (BII) and the U.S. Development Finance Corporation (DFC).
Afreximbank Signs $3 Million Agreement with Mediwood Studios To Grow Tunisian Film Industry
African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) and Mediwood Studios in Tunisia have signed a Term Sheet for a US$3 million facility aimed at strengthening Mediwood’s position as a key contributor to the growth of the Tunisian film industry.
