Hi everyone, just wanted to post this minor update about what we’re working on for 2025. No major disruptions but we’re adding little tweaks to make our product more concise and streamlined.

We're Shifting to Concise News Stories with the help of AI

In 2025, we will discontinue long-form, in-depth articles on our website and focus on shorter, impactful pieces that deliver information efficiently.

These stories will be more concise, focusing more on bullet-pointed news updates, making content quicker to read while maintaining depth. We’ll be employing the use of AI to make this possible, and all news articles will be marked with an AI author.

We'll be reserving longer format stories for special reports or strategic deep dives in our newsletters.

More Focus on Data Points and Labari Insights

In 2025, we'll be focusing more on our Data Points articles. We'll be integrating more data-driven stories and insights into news content, providing readers with valuable, research-backed information.

We'll also expand Labari Insights's role, focusing on delivering actionable data points for the tech ecosystem in Africa.

Expanding Our Newsletter

As we continue to grow our newsletter, we'll be sending out two editions: Weekly Round-Up and Deep Dives:

• Weekly Round-Up: A brief, high-level recap of the week's most important tech news and insights in Africa.

• Deep Dives: A more detailed newsletter exploring specific tech trends, sectors, or issues, offering subscribers expert insights and data.
