Ghanaian Fintech Float Acquires Accounteer For Undisclosed Amount

Late last week, news across our radar that the Ghanaian fintech Float had acquired a Nigerian fintech Accounteer for undisclosed for an undisclosed sum.
Float recently raised a $17 million round and it looks like they’re using some of that money for acquisitions. Float currently provides flexible credit lines for businesses to cover cash flow gaps and by the looks of it. Its acquisition of Accounteer, allows users to create invoices, track expenses, and register payments, might mean that the Ghanaian fintech is looking to offer future services in that area.
In other news, the Africa Money & DeFi Summit – West Africa edition will be happening on September 27-28th 2022 in Accra, Ghana.
