BUILD Holds “Build Summit” Event With Discussions On Experiences and Challenges of Building a Tech Business In Ghana - Last week, Tech Labari was present at an event hosted by BUILD to discuss the experiences and challenges of building a tech business in Ghana.
Why This Matters: At the event, entrepreneurs gave blunt realities of being a tech entrepreneur in Ghana’s current business environment.
From high taxes to the introduction of the E-levy bill, as well as dwindling revenue, entrepreneurs spoke about their current challenges and how they try to keep a high morale.
Zooming Out: Ghana has been facing economic stress since last year. The country applied for a $3 billion IMF bailout amid skyrocketing inflation and a depreciating currency which saw the exchange rate of the dollar to the cedi stand at $1 = 12 GHC.

But another big game was happening across the world. The Superbowl was played between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. The Kansas City Chiefs won in overtime.
According to viewership numbers, the game was watched by 123.4 million people in the US making it the highest-viewed Superbowl ever
