Startup Genome this week released their Global Startup ecosystem report for 2023. The report is a comprehensive analysis of the current state of startup ecosystems worldwide. It contains research and analysis of data from 3.5 million startups across 290 global ecosystems including Africa.
The report noted that Lagos, Nigeria had the highest ecosystem value with a value of $8 Billion thanks to company valuations including Flutterwave and OPay.
