Shatta Wale Officially Enters The "Uber" Business
Shatta Wale has officially entered the “Uber” business. Not really into “Uber” itself but the popular Ghanaian musician launched his own online ride-sharing service company called “Shaxi”.
The app acts like Uber and Bolt services where you can order a ride from your phone to get to a particular destination.
Only time will tell if this venture will succeed. Even though Shatta Wale is one of the most popular and well-known names in Ghana, the ride-sharing space is currently dominated by Uber and Bolt who are competing for riders and drivers as well.
Even Yango, a third alternative is still in the market. So will Shaxi be alive in the next six months? Or will it just fall to the wayside. We’ll keep an eye on how it fares.
