Podcasts are becoming a really big deal. In the US, podcasters like Joe Rogan are getting big pay deals in the $$ millons. More podcast networks and companies are sprouting up.
In Africa, it’s still early days but there are several podcast shows from Nigeria to South African which help to keep young people entertained and informed.
And it looks like Spotify took notice of this. The audio company this week launched its Africa Podcast Fund Initiative of $100,000 and announced 13 receipients across Africa including one podcast show from Ghana.
