A Ghanaian TikTok star called Jacline Mensah recently gave an interview where she stated that her rise to stardom on the popular app has added more digits to her bank account. She said one of her biggest payouts was a deal with a brand worth about 30,000 GHC.
Tiktok is one of the platforms which is part of the creator economy. Social media platforms like Instagram and YouTube are helping digital creators to get content to the masses and in return, they are getting paid for their work.
